Yoga4Sport

Yoga, mindfulness and meditation for martial arts, running, cycling, weight training, swimming, horse riding etc.

Every sport requires different conditioning aspects of the body, but in order for your body to perform at maximum there has to be a balance between your strength and flexibility.

Whatever your sport, I will provide you with an individually tailored programme of yoga, mindfulness and meditation.   The focus will be on stretching, strengthening and understanding your body (using your own body weight) so that during physical activity your body will work at its maximum.  I am passionate about taking a holistic (mind and body) approach to your needs, as a sportsperson, so focus will also be given to your sporting goals and aims so that your mind and body work as one,  synchronising to enhance your sporting performance.

What You Will Gain

  • An individually planned six week programme
  • A series of yoga movements and postures you can use to support your sporting future
  • A follow up session every six months or when needed

Cost

  • Initial assessment: £ 55.00
  • Six week programme: £50.00 per session (every sixth session free)
  • Follow up session: £45.00

Yoga4Cycling

Improve your cycling performance either as an individual or as a team.

As a cyclist, whether this is road, track or mountain-biking your need as a sportsperson is particular to this sport.   I offer a programme of yoga, mindfulness and meditation, with the focus being on your mental and physical needs as a cyclist.    The programme of yoga will involve a series of movement and postures that will stretch and strengthen your body and enable you to enhance and support your cycling performance.   I am passionate about you fulfilling your cycling potential.  Whether that is for pleasure; cycling around the Isle of Wight, or as a competitive sport’s person.   Ultimately, I aim to help you reach your goals both mentally, through mindfulness and meditation, and physically through yoga; whether this is your individual goals or as part of a cycling team.

  • Six week programme: £50.00 (every sixth session free)
  • Follow up session: £45.00
  • Group/team initial assessment: £150.00 up to 4 people or £250.00 4-10 people
  • Six week programme: £100.00 per hour up to 4 people
  • £250.00 per hour 4-10 people
  • Follow up session: £80.00 up to 4 people or £200.00 per hour 4-10 people
